Community recycling centres

All Surrey community recycling centres (CRCs) will be remaining open during lockdown, however the on-site reuse shops are closed. Please check Surrey County Council’s website for details before your visit in case there are any restrictions on certain types of waste. Epsom CRC requires that you pre-book a slot.

Residents should only use the CRCs if they absolutely need to as social distancing measures mean the number of people allowed on sites at any one time is limited. Please check for the latest information before you travel as current opening arrangements are subject to change. Please see individual site information for further details.

For full information on opening dates and times, and waste types accepted at each site, please check Surrey County Council’s website. Alternatively call 03456 009 009.

Recycling banks

Most will be emptied with the exception of British Heart Foundation recycling banks. If a recycling bank looks full-up, please don’t leave your waste on the ground beside it as this counts as fly-tipping and is illegal meaning you could be fined or even imprisoned!

Please reduce your waste and reuse where possible, and limit clear outs to avoid overfilling your bins – all this will help your bin crews while services come under increasing pressure during lockdown. Thank you.
