Paper guides to waste, recycling and bin collections are soon to be distributed to all households in Surrey.
They will land on residents’ doorsteps between 1 and 13 November 2021, although Guildford’s residents received their guides in October.
Each guide contains information on which items should go in which bins, tips on recycling more and wasting less and advice on recycling at Christmas. Where possible in Surrey, some guides also include a 2022 bin collections calendar and details of collection date changes over Christmas 2021.
They are a great way to remind yourself of when your bins will be collected and of which items go in which bins, so we’d recommend keeping hold of your guide somewhere handy for reference throughout the year.
The guides were produced by the Surrey Environment Partnership in collaboration with the district and borough councils in Surrey.
