Easy amaretti apples
Great for using up apples that may have gone slightly wrinkly in the fruit bowl!
Serves 1 (or double ingredients for any extra people)
- 1 apple
- ½ tsp of butter
- ½ cinnamon stick
- Tsp of brown sugar
- Amaretti biscuits
- Wash and core the apple.
- Insert the butter and the cinnamon stick into the middle of the apple.
- On a plate, crumble the amaretti biscuit and place the apple on the top of the mixture.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and microwave on a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with more crushed amaretti biscuits and serve.
